Noodles with Prawns

Ingredients (2 servings)

    • 2 pieces Hong Kong Claypot Noodles
    • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
    • 1 teaspoon garlic oil (optional)
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
    • 1 cup water
  • Vegetable mix

    • 1/2 carrot (shredded)
    • 1/4 cabbage (shredded)
    • 4 dried shiitake mushrooms (pre-soaked and thinly sliced)
    • 1/2 White onion (sliced)
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tablespoon Tai Hua stir-fry sauce
    • 1 teaspoon Double Pagoda garlic oil
    • A pinch of white pepper powder
  • Seafood

    • Small prawns (deshelled)

Cooking Step

  • Place noodles in a large bowl and pour boiling water to soak for 2 minutes. Loosen up noodles occasionally with a fork or chopsticks. Drain noodles and set aside. Add seasoning and lightly toss with noodles

  • Heat up a wok until center emits warmth. Pour cooking oil and heat for 1 minute. Add garlic oil and sugar and heat for 1 minute

  • Stir-fry seafood for 1 minute, then add vegetable mix and stir-fry for 1 minute

  • Add water and heat until liquid bubbles. Toss and mix the noodle well in the wok

  • Lightly drizzle with sesame oil and toss noodles. Serve hot
